Brought to you by the organisers of the Medway running day 2017. The event returns this year in Maidstone on the 27th December 2022
There will be a display of buses at Maidstone West Station from current operators and some preserved.
Free bus rides between 1000-1600 from Maidstone West Station over some past and present Maidstone bus routes using interesting and preserved vehicles. upto 11 buses are now currently booked to operate on these services, From old RT and RM buses to Trident double deckers there is something for everyone.
There is even an open top* bus tour at 1200 of the historic bus sites around Maidstone (*Weather permiting).
Buses booked($) to operate on the free services on the day include, Tridents, Darts, an LT and the open topper* for the younger enthusiasts along with older RML, RM, RCL, RT, Ailsa, an LT, MCW Metrobus vehicles

Please note there is no car parking on site. If arriving by car Please use one of the Town Centre Car Parks and use the free shuttle bus to reach the event site.
The souvenir programmes have arrived. These will include the vehicle workings and will be on sale from our control/exhibition bus NV Enviro 200 (808 "John Grubb") at the site on the day. Contactless payments will be accepted.
Feeder buses will operate from Bluewater/Gravesend/Medway, Sittingbourne, and Swanley/Shoreham/Eynsford/Otford/Sevenoaks/Borough Green/West Malling to and from the event. Please view the timetables for further details. Local operators will be operating to a Sunday timetable on the 27th and Arriva service 101 will provide a link to Maidstone from Medway throughout the day.
Event buses will operate every 15 mins between 1000 and 1600 linking the West Station site with Maidstone Town Centre, and hourly with the East Station.
We still have some spaces left for display vehicles at the Station, and for those interested in operating some of the bus services.

Any vehicles entered must be taxed, insured and hold a current MOT being driven only by someone who holds the correct licence for the class of vehicle being driven.
Any vehicles used on service runs must be driven by someone who is suitably insured and holding a current valid category D licence.
