Tickets and Passes


For all bus fare enquiries, please send us an e-mail and supply a contact number.


When paying a fare, we welcome cash or contactless payments.

Single, Day Return and Period Tickets


Use contactless, Connected Kent+Medway Smart Card, or cash to purchase a Single ticket, Return ticket or (on some of our services) a Weekly ticket from the driver when you board the bus.


To speed up boarding, please try to use contactless payments or have the correct change ready.

KCC Travel Saver is a travel scheme organised by Kent County Council for school years 7-11.


KCC Travel Saver is accepted for travel on all Nu-Venture buses for journeys starting and/or finishing in Kent. You must scan your pass on the ticket machine as you board the bus.


The driver may need to check your bus pass. This pass is not valid at weekends

English National Concessionary Travel Scheme


Valid after 0900 for journeys starting in Medway, and after 0930 in Kent on Mondays to Fridays. Valid all day on Saturdays and Sundays.


You must scan your pass on the ticket machine as you board.

Under 25 Academic Year/Term Pass

Venturer



Unlimited travel on all Nu-Venture buses.


This pass is for passengers aged 24 and under.


It is valid for travel all day, any day on any Nu-Venture local bus service in Kent and Medway for the validity of the pass.


Available on the MyTrip app

The only Day ticket that you can use on all operators in Kent and Medway.


£10 Adult; £8 Child, and £17.50 Family (up to 5 people with a maximum of 2 adults and a minimum of 1 adult)

Discovery Tickets are accepted on, and issued by most local bus companies in Kent, Medway, Sussex, Surrey, Brighton & Hove and East Hampshire


KCC 16+ Travel Saver is a travel scheme organised by Kent County Council for 16 and 17 year olds.


KCC 16+ Travel Saver is accepted for travel on all Nu-Venture buses for journeys starting and/or finishing in Kent. You must scan your pass on the ticket machine as you board the bus.


The driver may need to check your bus pass.

Medway Youth Pass


Young people who live in Medway can apply for a Medway Youth Pass.


The pass allows them to travel at a discounted rate on any local bus service.

Journeys must start in Medway and can be to anywhere in Kent.


For single journeys before 9am, show the Medway Youth Pass to the bus driver to get the child fare. Childfares are available in the afternoon automatically.
